Simple and Easy Pork Adobo







Ingredients:

1/2 kilo pork
1 cup vinegar
1 cup soy sauce
6 cloves garlic (minced)
2 tsp ground black pepper


Procedure:

  1. Mix all ingredients and set for 3 minutes.
  2. Cook in medium heat for 20 to 25 minutes or until the oil of pork comes out.
  3. Enjoy with rice.

Sweet and Spicy Shrimp


Ingredients:

1/2 kl. shrimp
2 cloves garlic
1 pc. onion
1 pc. bell pepper
1 tbsp soy sauce
4 tbsp ketchup
1 tbsp. oil
2 tbsp brown sugar
2 pcs. chili (minced)


Procedure:

  1. Combine the soy sauce, ketchup, sugar and chili. Set aside.
  2. Saute garlic, onion and bell pepper in pre-heated oil for 2 minutes.
  3. Put the shrimp and wait for 2 minutes.
  4. Add the soy sauce, ketchup, sugar and chili mixture.
  5. Simmer for 8 to 10 minutes.  Serve and enjoy.

Homemade Burger



Burger

Ingredients:

1/4 kg. ground beef
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground pepper
mince onion (small)

tomato (sliced)
curly lettuce
sliced cheese
mayonnaise
4 pcs. burger ban

Procedure

  1. Mix beef, onion, salt and pepper.
  2. Divide the mixture into four and shape into patties.
  3. Grill the patties in pre-heated pan.
  4. Arrange the burger in your choice.
  5. Enjoy.

Pork Menudo



Pork Menudo


Ingredients:

1/4 kl. pork (cut into small cubes)
2 potatoes (cubes)
1 carrot (cubes)
200 g. tomato sauce
155 g. canned green peas (drained)
4 cloves garlic (minced)
1 onion (slice horizontally)
1 bell pepper (slice into square)
1 cup water
2 tbsp. oil
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. sugar

Procedure:

  1. Pre-heat oil.  Saute garlic, onion, and pork.  Simmer for 5 minutes to 10 minutes.
  2. Add water, potato, and carrots. Simmer for another 5 minutes.
  3. Add salt, sugar, tomato sauce, green peas and bell pepper.  Simmer for 10 to 15 minutes.  Remove from heat.

Fried Milkfish


Fried Milk Fish

Ingredients:

2 pcs. boneless milk fish (medium size)
oil for frying

For marinate:
4 cloves garlic (minced)
1 tsp. salt
1 cup vinegar


Procedure:

  1. Mix all ingredients for marinate.
  2. Marinate milk fish for 30 minutes.
  3. Fry the fish in medium heat until brown and crispy.
  4. Enjoy!

Chicken Adobo with Fried Potato

Ingredients:

3 pcs. chicken breast ( cut into bite size)
1 medium size potato ( cut into bite size)
2 cloves garlic (chopped)
3 tbsp. vinegar
3 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. oil for sauteing
oil for frying the potato


Procedure:

  1. Fry the potato.  Set aside.
  2. In another pan, pre-heat oil.  Saute garlic until brown.
  3. Put chicken and let it cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Add fried potato, soy sauce, vinegar and sugar.  Let it simmer until the meat will absorb the sauce.  Remove from heat.
  5. Serve and enjoy!

Spaghetti with Corned Beef


Spaghetti with Corned Beef



Ingredients:

175 g spaghetti pasta ( merienda pack)
250 g spaghetti sauce
2 cloves garlic minced
1 small onion chopped
175 g corned beef in can
oil for sauteing
cheese (optional)

Procedure:

  1. Cook spaghetti.  Follow instructions on the pack.  Set aside.
  2. In a pan saute garlic, onion and corned beef. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
  3. Add spaghetti sauce and salt to taste.
  4. Let it simmer for 3 to 5 minutes.  Remove from heat.
  5. Mix the cooked spaghetti. Sprinkle with grated cheese.
  6. Serve and enjoy!

Stir Fry Water Spinach (Ginisang Kangkong)


Stir Fry Water Spinach

Ingredients:

2 bundles water spinach ( kangkong in Philippines)
2 tbsp vegetable oil
2 cloves garlic chopped
1 tbsp oyster sauce

Note: Use the leafy part of the spinach.

Procedures:

  1. Pre-heat cooking oil in a pan then saute garlic.
  2. Add the spinach and stir about a minute or less.
  3. Put oyster sauce and mix thoroughly.  Remove from heat.
  4. Serve and enjoy!

Cabbage with Oyster Sauce




Cabbage is easier to find here in the Philippines, even in our place we can buy cabbage in a small sari-sari store. My husband don't eat meat, but he's not a vegetarian, this  is the reason why I decided to cooked this recipe.
This recipe is very easy with only five ingredients that you can find in your kitchen especially if you loves cooking for your family.
Cabbage with Oyster Sauce

Ingredients:

2 cloves garlic minced
1 onion chopped
1 tbsp. oyster sauce
1 whole medium size cabbage
1 tbsp. vegetable oil


Procedure:
  1. Heat oil in a pan. Saute garlic and onion.
  2. Add the cabbage.  Stir for about a minute.
  3. Add oyster sauce and mix thoroughly.  Remove from heat.
  4. Serve and enjoy!
